March Madness gets a full dumping of Tinkerbell's pixie magic this week as Asian Jon and Average Joe are joined by TC Laff to dive into the animated films which constitute the famous Disney Renaissance! This includes each movie released from 1989's "The Little Mermaid" until 1999's "Tarzan". Why is this the resurgence of Disney movies? How did this happen? Which films, songs, villians, princesses and themes are the best?

Before getting into full on Disney territory, the gang discusses Average Joe's thoughts on the new film "Saban's Power Rangers". Does it improve on the 90's show? Is it morphenomenal?

Audio from "Saban's Power Rangers" is the property of Haim Saban, Lionsgate, and Saban Brands.

Audio from the Disney films is the property of Walt Disney Pictures. Please support the official release.

March Madness Round Three gets a sprinkling of Disney magic as Asian Jon and Average Joe dive into the tale as old as time to discuss "Beauty & The Beast" in it's original story, the 1991 animated musical and the brand new 2017 live action adaptation.

The guys cap off the episode with a short discussion asking the big question of our time- what is the definition of a nerd?

Sadly, TC Laff couldn't join us as previously announced but we hope to have her on the show again soon.

If you want to avoid SPOILERS for the 2017 version of Beauty & The Beast, please skip over 31:50-45:37 in the episode.

Audio used in this episode from "Beauty & The Beast (1991)" and "Beauty & The Beast (2017)" is the property of Walt Disney Pictures and Alan Menken.

March Madness enters Round 2 with Monster Week on the Bat-Jar Podcast. Average Joe is reunited with Asian Jon to talk giant gorillas, pocket monsters and digital monsters. Sounds interesting?

The guys talk about the box office performance of "Kong: Skull Island" and what this means for the future of the Kong/Godzilla shared universe.

Then they get into the famous debate of Pokémon versus Digimon. Two franchises that focus on fighting monsters and evolving to the next levels. Who has the better games? Who has the better anime series? Who ripped off who?

Audio in this episode from "Digimon Adventure" is the property of Akiyoshi Hongo,
Toei Animation, Bandai, and Saban Brands.

Audio in this episode from "Pokémon: Indigo League" is the property of Nintendo, Game Freak, OLM Inc. and The Pokémon Company International.

March Madness begins with "Logan", the first major comic book film of 2017.  Average Joe is joined by special guest One Shot to discuss the upcoming crossover between DC Comics and the Looney Tunes, the highly anticipated final Wolverine film starring Hugh Jackman, and the secrets about the production of anime.

Batman meets Elmer Fudd? How much paper is used for animation in Japan? Does Logan earn its R-rating? Answers to all these questions and more await you inside this week's Bat Jar.

LOGAN SPOILERS happen between 16:34 and 34:10, so if you want to avoid spoilers for the movie, skip this part of the episode.

The "Logan" TV Spot used in this episode is the property of James Mangold, Kinberg Genre, The Donners' Company, Hutch Parker Entertainment, 20th Century Fox and Marvel Entertainment.
