Merry Christmas to all! To celebrate, Asian Jon and Average Joe exchange gifts before giving a gift to themselves in the form of talking about all the comic book movies released in theatres in 2017. A complex ranking system accounting for box office, Rotten Tomatoes scores, Cinemascore, IMDB ratings, and the Bat-Cookie ratings provides the complete answer as to which movies are the best to come out this year. This week the guys return to a galaxy far, far, away to discuss the latest chapter of the Star Wars franchise, Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. Does it answer any of the questions established in Episode VII? Is it better than Rogue One? Who is the last Jedi? Why is there a lightsaber fight going on inside Average Joe's head?

Due to this film's marketing hiding the majority of the plot, the spoiler free section of this week's show is relatively short. If you wish to avoid spoilers for "Star Wars: The Last Jedi", skip over 22:59-1:18:52 of the episode.

Music and audio from "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" is the property of John Williams, Rian Johnson, Kathleen Kennedy, Ram Bergman, and Lucasfilm Ltd.

A potential business deal between 21st Century Fox and Disney will decide the fate of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Avatar franchise, and many other aspects of Hollywood. Will the US government block the deal? Should the Marvel characters owned by Fox be integrated into the existing MCU? The guys speculate on what may happen.

Then we take a trip to stock footage of San Francisco for a green screen roof, tuxedo football, and some of the most interesting acting you will ever see with 2003's "The Room". How has this famously bad film developed a cult following? What does AJ-Squared this of this "best worst movie?".

Music and audio from "The Room" is the property of Tommy Wiseau, Mladen Milicevic, and Wiseau-Films.
